This is my Podcast, there are many like it but this one is mine. Phil takes 1987's Full Metal Jacket off the shelf. The first appearance of Stanley Kubrick and Phil is very excited. The unique choices the movie makes were nit fully appreciated at the time but like so many of his movies, it grows and grows with age. Dave has a memory of seeing it once before and is impressed by the structure of the film and can't help but enjoy the verbal onslaught of the first 5 minutes. However, different emotions emerge as the story develops.
