Tashanda Giles-Jones is an Environmental educator and activist who 'nurtures young minds' about the importance of making a difference in their communities. She is a great example of the changemakers that we are bringing to you in this second annual season. Tashanda was born in New York and has lived in different States, which enriched her life and made her the person she is today. This is an interesting and entertained talk about her passion, her shift from the medical field to a second career at the age of forty, plus what it means to celebrate Black History month today.
