Description

Change isn't always fun, easy, or straightforward.

There's uncertainty, risk, and resistance.

Progress, or even getting started, can be quite uncomfortable.

Yet, that discomfort might be useful.

Discomfort often means you're on the right track.

It may mean you recognize what’s at stake.

It may reflect growth.

It may indicate you’re doing something that matters.

This isn’t always the case, of course.

Sometimes, discomfort is out of our hands.

There’s very little in life, after all, that we control.

Yet, we control ourselves.

When we find ourselves facing discomfort, willing to endure it to move toward a better life, it just might mean it’ll be worth it.

What discomfort are you avoiding?

Quitting a habit?

Breaking off a relationship?

Making a change to how you eat?

Pushing through a workout?

Enrolling in a class?

These can all be uncomfortable.

Lean into that discomfort.

You’ve got this.
