The Love Lab: Where Impossible Love Becomes Possible
Jesus’ words in Luke 6 are challenging—love your enemies, give to everyone who asks, and turn the other cheek. These commands stretch us beyond our limits, exposing the truth: We can’t love like this on our own. But that’s the point. Love isn’t meant to be a solo act—it’s something we practice together in community.
In this episode, we explore what happens when we stop seeing Jesus’ words as impossible ideals and start treating them as an experiment in grace. Like St. Francis of Assisi, who found creative ways to give even when he was told not to, we, too, can discover new ways to love. Through real struggles and real grace, we’re learning that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a skill. And the only way to get better is to show up, try again, and lean on one another.
So, what’s one small act of love you can try today? Listen in and be part of the experiment.
