Day 227 | Jeremiah 37:11–38:28; Ezekiel 1:1–3:15
Today’s episode follows two faithful prophets—Jeremiah, still proclaiming God’s word in besieged Jerusalem, and Ezekiel, newly called to prophesy from exile in Babylon. Jeremiah is persecuted, beaten, and thrown into a cistern for warning Jerusalem of its destruction. Yet even in judgment, God offers mercy: surrender and you will live. Meanwhile, Ezekiel is overwhelmed by a stunning vision of God’s glory. He falls face down in worship, setting the tone for a calling marked by reverence and obedience. Though God's people resist, His messengers remain faithful—and His mercy remains available to any who will turn to Him.
