In the midst of the dark and chaotic Judges era, the book of Ruth shines as a story of faithfulness, redemption, and God’s provision. Naomi, bitter and broken from loss, believes her life is over—yet God is writing a greater story. Ruth, a Moabite widow, chooses loyalty over comfort and follows Naomi to Israel, where God’s law makes a way for their survival. Enter Boaz, a man of integrity, who follows God’s commands when others do what is right in their own eyes. Little did they know, their faithfulness would place them in the lineage of the Messiah.
