Day 89 | Joshua 22:1–24:33
The conquest era comes to a close as Joshua sends the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh back to their land. However, their decision to build an altar nearly sparks a war due to a misunderstanding. Joshua then gathers all Israel to deliver his farewell address, urging them to remain faithful to God and avoid idolatry. His famous declaration—“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”—echoes through history as a challenge for every believer. This passage reminds us of the importance of choosing whom we will serve and fully committing to God's path.
