Daniel receives a powerful vision of war and hardship that drives him to three weeks of mourning, prayer, and self-denial. In his vision, a radiant heavenly figure reveals the reality of spiritual warfare, where unseen forces resist God’s messengers until Michael the archangel comes to help. Though the battle is fierce, God hears Daniel’s prayers from the very first day, reminding us that He is at work even when the answers are delayed. The people who know their God will be strong and will stand firm.
