Day 47 | Numbers 8:1–9:14; Leviticus 1:1–3:17
As we enter Leviticus, we begin to see the deep significance of sacrifices, purification, and the role of the Levites in Israel. The Levites were set apart, purified, and dedicated to serve as representatives before God—foreshadowing how Christ would one day become the ultimate sacrifice for all. Just as their sins were placed on the sacrificial animals, our sins were placed on Jesus, making us right with God. The gospel was woven into Scripture from the very beginning.
