At last, the temple is complete—and as the Ark of the Covenant enters, the glory of the Lord fills the house so powerfully that the priests cannot stand. This is more than a construction project; it’s the fulfillment of generations of longing and divine promise. Solomon’s prayer of dedication is a model for us today: he looks to the past with gratitude, trusts God in the present, and prays boldly for the future. And in a moving answer, God responds: I have heard your prayer. His presence, His promises, and His mercy still remain.
