Day 157 | Ecclesiastes 1:12–6:12
Solomon, once the wisest man alive, surveys a lifetime of ambition, knowledge, and pleasure—and finds it all meaningless. In today’s reflection on Ecclesiastes 1–6, we witness a man who had everything the world could offer but ends in despair, overwhelmed by the emptiness of a self-centered life. He speaks with brutal honesty about work, wealth, wisdom, and pleasure, repeating one haunting phrase: “It’s all like chasing the wind.” But beneath the weight of Solomon’s sorrow is a warning and a reminder—that true meaning is only found when our lives are centered on God. This episode explores how easily our hearts can drift and why we must daily realign them to the One who gives life its purpose.
