After a mentor took him under his wing, he started to develop as a leader in the church. While attending a conference,where they were warned not to date one another, he fell in love with his future wife. After getting married and losing a job, they found they were seriously stuck in the roommate zone. They didn’t realize how bad it was until he accepted a job 3 states away without even a conversation with his wife. This was they wakeup call they needed to turn it around. He is now teaching and preaching his message of being a practical Christian outside the confines of the local church.
