Swindon cruiserweight Luke Watkins made his debut back in 2014. His family connections are in Taghmon, Wexford and  ‘The Duke’ fought and beat Dublin an favorite Ian Timms in 2017 before going on later that year to win the Commonwealth title also under the guidance of long time coach & friend Paddy Fitzpatrick.
