At the turn of the decade Victor Rabei was sitting pretty & thanking the boxing Gods for what had been a tremendous 12 months - but could have been even better.
He won the BUI Celtic Lightweight title. Defended it once & signed a fantastic promotional deal with US promoter Joe DeGuardia’s - Star Boxing.
In this episode Vic is back to talk about all of that. About life in isolation and indeed the business side
of the sport that many don’t see or know about.
And first appearance on the podcast for St. Micheal's BC boxer Brandon McCarthy who had a pretty
unforgettable 2019. He boxed in the European youth championships, won an Irish intermediate title in October
and finished the year by stepping up and winning the 60kg Elite Senior title in November.
