A light-hearted review of our first anime review of the year! As big fans of Japanimation and film-within-film storylines, we went along to our local cinema to check out Pompo the Cinéphile for its limited screening run (evident in the pre-ramble section).
How well does the animation fare against Ghibli or Makoto Shinkai movies? Is the film within the film long enough to match the movie length? Is editing film footage meant to seem this cool?? All these questions and more are answered in this episode - but beware, spoilers ahead!
