A parable is figurative speech that demands reflection for understanding, the key to understanding is to commit to explore its meaning. Christ tells us that God gives more understanding to those that accept the Word of God, but takes understanding away from those that do not accept it. To those that accept the Word of God, they will grow in knowledge and discernment. Matthew 13:10-17.
