I've had enough of the trope that Mozart hated the flute, and so I'm here to put it to bed once and for all. I'll explain where it came from, why it was probably just a 22 year old overreacting and then go through all the wonderful things Wolfie Mozart composed for the flute.
I'll round it up with telling you my three favourite Mozart flute recordings, and why you should love them too.
