~ Japanese last name ~
日本の名字には、自然に関する漢字が使われているのを知っていますか？
例えば、川口という名字には川、田中という名字には田んぼの「田」が使われています。
昔、その人が住んでいる地域によって名字がつけられたからと言われています。
自分の名字はもちろん、知っている名字には全部、自然に関する漢字が入っているので
面白いなと思います。
にほんの みょうじには、しぜんに かんする かんじが つかわれているのを しっていますか？
たとえば、かわぐち という みょうじには かわ、たなか という みょうじには たんぼの「た」が つかわれています。
むかし、そのひとが すんでいる ちいきによって みょうじが つけられたから といわれています。
じぶんの みょうじは もちろん、しっている みょうじには ぜんぶ、しぜんに かんする かんじが はいっているので おもしろいな とおもいます。
Did you know that Japanese last names use kanji characters related to nature?
For example, the last name “Kawaguchi” uses a river, and the last name “Tanaka” uses the character for rice fields, “Ta”.
It is said that this is because many years ago last names were given according to the area where the person lived.
I think it is interesting that all the last names I know, as well as mine, contain kanji characters related to nature.
