お正月に家の前に置く、竹の飾りの名前を知っていますか？
門松といいます。
元旦には、神様が幸運を持ってくるために
皆の家を訪れると言われています。
そのとき、神様がわかりやすいように門松を置くそうです。
皆さんの国では、新年に置く飾りがありますか？
おしょうがつに いえの まえに おく、
たけの かざりの なまえを しっていますか？
かどまつといいます。
がんたんには、かみさまが こううんを もってくるために
みんなの いえを おとずれる といわれています。
そのとき、かみさまが わかりやすいように かどまつを おくそうです。
みなさんの くにでは しんねんに おく かざりが ありますか？

It's called kadomatsu.

to bring good fortune.
