In this deeply personal and powerful episode, Laura shares her journey of transformation, exploring the sacred and mystical aspects of womanhood, motherhood, and the path to healing. She opens up about her struggles with menstrual pain, the emotional impact of pregnancy and birth, and the profound shift that occurred when she embraced her cyclical nature.

Through candid reflections, she unravels the complexities of childbirth, from her homebirth desires to an unexpected emergency caesarean, and the lasting emotional scars from that experience.

Through personal musings, Laura opens up about the struggles, emotions, and revelations she encountered during her transition into motherhood—while weaving in the wisdom and teachings of some of the most influential voices in the field of birth and maternal care.

Throughout the episode, you'll hear reflections on the work of midwives and birth advocates like Rachelle Seliga and her training INNATE Traditions, Tami Lynn Kent, Michel Odent, Liliana LammersPam England and Whapio from The Matrona.
