The #FM104 PhoneShow was a late night phone-in programme on the Dublin radio station FM104 hosted by Keith Ward. It aired Monday to Thursday evenings from 21:00 to 01:00 and from 22:00 to 00:00 on Friday nights. Live images from the studio were simulcast on local cable TV station City Channel, until the TV station closed in September
A typical programme begins with a 90-minute segment called Get It Off Your Chest, a less serious show in which callers are invited to call the station to discuss whatever they want. This section includes phone, text-in competitions and callers to the show randomly winning small prizes. Listeners are invited to submit topics by email and telephone for discussion on the programme between 22:30 and 00:30 nightly. These topics usually relate to issues affecting Dubliners, current affairs and listeners' personal problems.
#AdrianKennedy is an Irish radio journalist, broadcaster and DJ. He was host and producer of the late-night radio chat show FM104 Phoneshow, alongside co-host Jeremy Dixon, from 1997 to 2013. When he left the programme, it was the highest-rated nighttime radio show in Ireland.[1] In 2006 Kennedy was convicted of drunk driving after being found to be almost two times over the legal limit and was put off the road.[2] Kennedy was once described as a "shock jock" by the Irish Independent newspaper for his controversial on-air persona.[3]
In August 2013, Kennedy and his co-host and producer Jeremy Dixon resigned from FM104 to take up a job offer with the rival station 98FM. Due to a stipulation in their contracts, both were placed on six months' garden leave after their final show on 25 September 2013, which prevented them from promoting their new show.[4] #JeremyDixon weki
