At last, I have edited chapters of Volume 3: RECKONING ready to share with you!
When I was creating Volume 2, I was alternating between recording and editing, but since I moved from Hilo to Honolulu, I decided to do all of the recording up front, because I sensed that Honolulu would be louder. I was right. It's still doable, but recording an audiobook here would have been trickier. So I set a goal to finish recording all of volume 3 before I moved in August, and I reached it! WHEW!
That meant that, once I arrived here in Honolulu, I had many hours of audio to edit down to about 6 hours (and I usually do multiple takes of each sentence)
Anyway, that's just a glimpse into my process. I really don't enjoy the editing that much. It feels very tedious, but I should have it wrapped up before Christmas, and then I'll do a shoutout on my newsletter about beta listeners!
