Susan is truly one of our greatly admired pioneers! She began her Endurance journey back in 1982! This was a few years before AERC even started to record miles and statistics. She retired from riding in 2007. Since, she has dedicated endless volunteer hours and has served on the AERC Board of Directors as the SE Regional Director since 1990! Now at the age of 82, Susan shares some of her early experiences in the sport, some exciting ride stories as well as some personal challenges.
