We welcome "The Closer" Brad Carlson from 1130am The Patriot on the podcast. Today, we discuss our hometown, Minnesota Twins. It's baseball season again! Last year the Twinkies were plagued by injuries and played well below the expectations. 

 

Last year was also a PR nightmare. They said that they were going to cut payroll in the off season just after winning their first playoff series in a long time. They lost their TV deal in the middle of the season. They were still playing well through all of that until late in the season and collapsed, being cut from post season play at the very end of the season.

 

This year they made no moves in the off season. They seem to be preparing the team for sale to a new owner, so the moves they are making are more good for business than good for baseball.
