Hami is a first-generation immigrant from Iran, who came ot America as a kid and identifies himself as Persian (which Andy and Ryan think is very cool). His story follows the classic pattern of hard work and sacrifice that leads to success, and it's particularly interesting considering the current political climate between iran and the USA. Hami is currently doing his residency to become a neurologist, following in the footsteps of his father who was also a physician. He had some interesting insights into the culture and politics of his home country, and we had an emotional talk near the end about the death of Andy's mom and how the brain and nervous system works.
