Until a divine meeting with a mentor gifted her with the words, “You’re constantly performing. You know what everybody wants you to say and you say it.”
“You have no idea who you really are.”
Whether we know it consciously or not, this is a phenomenon many of us experience.
We think we’re doing all the ‘right’ things until one day we realise – according to who? Who determined what was right? It wasn’t us.
Unconsciously as children we watch what everybody else tells us is ‘good’ and our mind says ‘be good like this to be loved.’ And it continues until adulthood if we don’t become conscious of it.
