Marlee Crankshaw, DNP, RN, CNML joined the NICU at Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in 1983 and has stayed with the NICU since that time, serving in a variety of roles: Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Case Manager, Manager, Director, Administrative Director. Marlee graduated with her DNP in 2010. She says it's difficult to choose, but the part of her career has been her favorite is that of Administrative Director. This role has been the most rewarding and most challenging—leading a large group of staff in an ever expanding unit!
