We have reviewed quite a few controversial fights, but perhaps none more so than the junior welterweight bout from 1990 that pitted two undefeated fighters from different generations against each other. Meldrick Taylor was a 1984 American Olympic gold medalist and riding a record of 24-0-1 into the fight... he held the IBF belt he'd won two years earlier and defended it four times. The unification bout was scheduled against the WBC champ Julio Caesar Chavez, the already-legendary Mexican fighter who had already won belts at super featherweight and lightweight and carrying a record of 68-0.

The fight itself was astounding to nearly everyone watching - rather than being a close fight between two of the great pound-for-pound combatants, the fight was completely one-sided, with one fighter arguably winning every round through the first 11, before the fateful 12th round ended with a finish that had everyone in the crowd talking - and many of them screaming and tearing their hair out.

Butch and Rob will tell you all about it as they do their round-by-round analysis.
