Some fights need more setup than do others - and some need no setup at all - except to say that, when Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met at Madison Square Garden in 1971, it was billed as "The Fight of the Century" -- proceeded as it was by Ali's long run as undefeated heavyweight champion, followed by his incarceration for not enlisting when drafted to fight in Vietnam and the subsequent ascendance of undefeated Joe Frazier to the title.
After a short comeback, Ali challenged Frazier for the title that used to be his and that he never lost in the ring... what happened next is legend.
