On June 23, 2022, 37-year-old Scotty Manuel left his parents’ home in Walnut Cove, North Carolina with a fishing pole, a tackle box, and a small American flag. He told his family he was going fishing, something he often did... but this time, he never came back. Witnesses later saw him walking near Baux Mountain Road, looking confused. Despite intensive searches, not a single trace of Scotty has ever been found.
In this episode of The Find Me Podcast, we break down Scotty’s last known movements, his pace of travel, and the environmental conditions that day. We’ll look at what the data tells us about his likely search radius, why awareness for his case remains low, and how you can help. Join us as we activate Scotty’s case, analyze his pattern of life, and work with the community to drive visibility and bring answers to his family.
