Csaba Toth is the Founder of ICQ Global.
Csaba Toth grew up between cultures and studied business psychology and international management. His first company in the UK grew into one of the biggest restaurant listings in the country, then turned into a joint venture that he lost, because what made sense on paper did not work between the people involved. That failure became the topic of his dissertation on Eastern and Western European joint ventures, and the research behind ICQ Global. Today ICQ Global measures the nine biomarkers within psychological safety, motivational drivers and cognitive diversity, has worked with more than 900 teams, and is present in more than 50 countries through hundreds of licensed partners. Csaba is also the author of Uncommon Sense in Unusual Times and co-founder of the People Developers' Playground, a community for coaches, consultants and HR professionals. In this conversation, he explains why most people know themselves far less than they think, why psychological safety is not about being nice, and why the most engaged teams are often the most resistant to change.
