This week I’m joined by personal trainer Zach Lipson. Zach specializes in working with athletes with disabilities of all kinds. We met at last years Adaptive seminar at CrossFit riverfront!
Zach was born with a neuromuscular joint disorder called Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia , that causes his lower body to become progressively weaker and consistently remain tight.
Zach joined me talk to about spending a good portion of his life feeling sorry for himself by allowing HSP to control him. But then something changed in his mind and he begun to step out of his comfort zone and tackle sports like football. From there he found a passion he pursuing a life of what he could do instead of focusing on what he could do . Following that passion to a career choice Zach now works with a wide range of adaptive clients to help them reclaim the same independence and freedoms
