This week I’m joined by Adam Kramer , state director of The Green Beret Project based in The state of Delaware. The GBP offers at-risk youth dynamic programming after school and on weekends. During these sessions, adult cadre build rapport and trust, while identifying the future young leaders for the program. There is informal and formal mentorship for youth, to include instruction addressing areas of need.
Adam talks with me about his life leading to a career mentoring young men on the ways of maturing as a man. After facing a life sentence in his late 20s Adam dedicated himself to taking responsibility for his own choices instead of ever playing the victim and helps to pass on that same thing to the kids he works with .
