movie; Cabaret. This film marks review # 14 of the AFI list of Greatest Movie Musicals of all time. written by Jay Presson Allen with Music and Lyrics by Kander and Ebb. The movie was adapted from the 1966 stage musical of the same name.
The film stars Liza Minnelli, Michael York, Helmut Griem, Fritz Wepper, Marisa Berenson and reprising his role from Broadway as The M.C., the one and only Joel Grey.
