In this special episode of the OnStage Colorado podcast, host Alex Miller talks to Regan Linton, the artistic director of Phamaly Theatre Company in Denver. The company currently has a production of Chicago running through Aug. 25 at the Studio Loft at the Denver Center.
Phamaly is a theatre company that focuses on providing opportunities for actors with disabilities. Phamaly's mission and vision statements on their website describe it best:
Mission: To be a creative home for theatre artists with disabilities; to model a disability-affirmative theatrical process; and to upend conventional narratives by transforming individuals, audiences, and the world.
Vision: A world in which disability and the differences within the human condition are celebrated and the theatre experience is accessible and welcoming to all.
