A few months ago, Kim reached out to me with an inspiring dream: to start her own business. Fast forward to today, and we're recording on location, from her beautiful new bookstore, Larkspur Books, in Southampton.
I had an incredible time talking with Kim. Her passion for her journey was contagious – who doesn’t want to start a business where you get to spend your time buying and reading books? And then helping others find their new favourite book too!
During our conversation, Kim shared the ups and downs of starting a small business, the importance of community collaboration, and the joy of connecting with local authors. She also celebrated the vibrant small business community in Saugeen Shores, and shared her vision for Larkspur Books - a hub for book lovers and community events.
