Living with FASD is a human interest and educational show for those living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, and the people who support them, by someone with both professional and living experience with an FASD.
This week on Living with FASD, my Candid Conversation is with Deb Evensen AND Dr. Kathryn Page. I welcome back to the mic Dr. Page, who co-hosted the first three episodes of Living with FASD. Dr. Page has worked in the FASD community for decades, as a clinician and as a trainer. Though retired, Dr. Page continues to give of herself to the FASD community, and I am always delighted when she joins me at the mic.
Deb Evensen M.A. is an outspoken advocate for those living with FASD, a master teacher and behavior specialist with more than 40 years’ experience teaching children, adolescents and adults. She has been a pioneer in discovering practical strategies that work for individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and their families. She brings the unique perspective of one who has spent thousands of hours helping to find solutions within communities across North America facing FASD. Deb believes by standing together to face these challenges we are - step by step - creating a better future for the generations who will follow us.
