What's for dinner -
Cameron's Lasagna:
I pound ground beef
12 Oz tomato paste
2 cans tomato sauce
Chopped onion- 1/2 or 1 whole depending on your taste
Seasonings to taste-
Italian seasoning
Garlic powder
Onion powder
1 teaspoon on sugar
Lasagna noodles
Mozzarella cheese, 2lb
Ricotta cheese
Parmesan cheese
1 Brown beef with onions
2. Add seasonings
3. Add tomato paste and sauce.
4. Meanwhile cook Lasagna noodles (12) according to package directions
5. Once noodles are cooked, begin layering. Start with sauce to cover the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish. Then add a layer of noodles. Top noodles with more sauce. Add Mozzarella and ricotta. On top of cheese, a layer of noodles, then sauce, then cheese. For the final layer, noodles, sauce, mozzarella and parmesan instead of ricotta.
*Tip for ricotta is to drop by the tablespoon across the cheese layer.
