This episode shares the miracle behind the sing-along songs and how something created during a time of deep personal healing grew into a life-changing mission for children in need.
During my cancer journey, there were moments when my body needed complete rest. In that quiet space, music began flowing through me in a new and unexpected way. Songs arrived not only as comfort and healing for my own heart, but as something meant to be shared far beyond me.
Around that same time, the director of an orphanage reached out with an invitation I deeply wished I could accept—but physically, I was unable to travel. Instead of feeling limited, I asked a simple question: How can I still show up with love? I wanted to reach the beautiful, innocent souls of these children in a way that truly mattered.
That question became the doorway.
With my dog Buddy by my side, sing-along songs began to form—songs created to bring joy, teach English, and help children learn through laughter, rhythm, and connection. These songs now support the children at the orphanage while also helping children and families in other countries learn English together in a fun, loving way.
Our shared goal is to come together to help sick children at the orphanage have access to medical care by providing a vehicle to safely transport them to hospitals and clinics.
