The God Who Provides – Part 2: The Power of the Table
The message reminds us that God often meets people at the table. Throughout Scripture, the table represents more than food—it represents fellowship, grace, and divine presence. Abraham’s hospitality brought angels to his home. Jesus’ meals with sinners revealed the heart of God. The disciples recognized Him not in conversation but in the breaking of bread.
Believers are called to live this out by practicing hospitality, extending invitation, and showing generosity. The table of hospitality opens hearts. The table of invitation welcomes the broken and forgotten. The table of generosity turns ordinary meals into moments of ministry.
The Lord’s Table shows us we didn’t earn our seat—it was given by grace. Now we are called to make room for others.
Challenge: Open your table this week. Invite someone in. Feed not only their body but their soul, and let your table become a reflection of God’s Kingdom.
