Description

In tribes, the chief does not seize his role through force. Rather, it is the members of the tribe who entrust him with that role and responsibility.

First and foremost, it’s his role to hold each and every member of the tribe — and their wellbeing — in his heart, and to lead from that place.

It’s the same for fathers. Just because a man can have children doesn’t mean that he’s fit to serve in the role as father.

It takes an immense amount of work to turn inward and do the work necessary to show up as a man of honor and reverence, and it’s the kind of work that our wives and children sorely need from us.

In this Uncommon chat with Michael Ivan Skye  (@michaeliskye) , we delve into the depths of honor, and what it means to connect to and show up from that place in our daily lives.

We discuss the dire place that men are in nowadays, and the importance of healing our father and mother wounds as a means to heal ourselves so that we may show up as the leaders that our families and the world truly need from us.

If you want to show up as a stronger leader for your family, a father who creates a feeling of calmness and safety, and a true lighthouse for your family, then don’t miss this episode with Michael Ivan Skye.
