Welcome to Part 2 of a very special episode of Storybreakers, where today we are giving you exclusive access to our Live Reading Event Of George Miller's ill-fated, unproduced superhero blockbuster Justice League Mortal.
In 2008, George Miller, the director of Mad Max, was on the cusp of launching one of the biggest blockbuster films of all time, the ultimate Superhero team-up film: Justice League Mortal written by Kieran Mulroney
Michele Mulroney. This was to be the very first time that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Latern & Aquaman were to unite in a live action film.
The mighty heroes were cast (Armie Hammer was going to be Batman, while Adam Brody was cast as The Flash) and production was about to begin in Australia. However, due to the Writer’s Strike and tax issues with the country, Miller’s blockbuster was put on hold, indefinitely.
A few attempts to resuscitate the film all failed and Justice League Mortal drifted back into Hollywood lore… Until now.
