Many times, people see the parable of the sower as a way to look at others' spirituality. We see people as stony soil, thorny soil, etc. However the truth is that we can each be one of these soils at various times. The thrust of Jesus' teaching was to listen closely. Are you listening to God, or are you just hearing without desiring to do?
