On this week’s episode, I highlight the life of an amazing woman, Martha Mason, who lived 61 years in an iron lung machine. In an interview with the Charlotte Observer toward the end of her life she said, “I’m happy with who I am, where I am. I wouldn’t have chosen this life, certainly. But given this life, I’ve probably had the best situation anyone could ask for.”
