In Every Situation
I have a challenge for each of us this week. Myself absolutely included.
Here it is: Learn to turn to God in every situation. Not just when we need help—in every situation.
We're pretty good at turning to the Lord when we need help. When things are hard. When we're desperate. When we don't know what to do.
But what about the ordinary moments? What about when things are going well? What about the routine tasks, the successful meetings, the moments of joy?
Do we turn to Him then?
The challenge is to begin seeing our lives always in the context of God. Always in the context of His will. Without ever losing sight of Him.
Not just in crisis. In everything.
When you wake up—turn to Him. When you're frustrated in traffic—turn to Him. When you get good news—turn to Him. When you're making dinner—turn to Him. When you're celebrating—turn to Him.
Ask for His light. Ask for His help. Give Him thanks. Invite Him in.
In every situation.
That's the challenge. And it's a good one.

Lord, teach us to turn to You in every situation—not just when we're desperate, but in every moment. In the ordinary and the extraordinary, the joyful and the difficult. Never let us lose sight of You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
