For two years, Bethlehem went dark at Christmas—no tree, no lights, no celebration—as war cast its shadow over the birthplace of Jesus. This year, Christmas has returned to Manger Square. I walked the streets of Bethlehem with my good friend Paul Calvert, a British journalist and minister who has called this city home for over a decade. We explored the Church of the Nativity, discussed why the 14-pointed star in the grotto proclaims Jesus’ Jewish identity, and addressed the false claim that Jesus was Palestinian. Paul also shared his new children’s book, The Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree, written during those dark Christmases when Bethlehem had no tree of its own. In spite of the challenges facing this community, hope has returned. As the apostle Paul wrote, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.” Indeed.

Heroes Who Never Stop Serving: Your Impact

Tipping Point Ministries is raising funds for both ministry expansion and Israel’s emergency medical crisis. 50% supports Tipping Point’s prophetic outreach and teaching, while 50% goes directly to Magen David Adom—Israel’s national emergency service—after Iran’s attacks destroyed 20 ambulances worth $2.3 million.

Your gift grows our ministry’s end-times voice while providing lifesaving ambulances, paramedic training, and medical supplies to Israel’s heroic first responders.

With any gift amount—$25, $100, $1,000, or more—we’ll send you a complete digital copy of Jimmy Evans’ new book, Countdown to the King: 25 Prophetic Names of Christ. This 25-day devotional is perfect for the Christmas season—each day explores one of Jesus’ names and reveals how it was fulfilled at His first coming and how it will be gloriously completed at His Second Coming.
