This week, I will continue my series on freedom by discussing how to find freedom from hidden lies. I will explain the danger of hidden lies, how Satan uses them to deceive us, and how to break free from them.

That's what makes the devil so dangerous. If the devil would just friendly present himself to us, as believers, we have authority over the devil. If he would just come to us friendly and say, hey, I'm the devil. I want to destroy your life. We'd all say no. That would be an easy thing. That's not what he does. He takes opportunity through our pain. —Jimmy Evans

God Answers Specific Prayers

By Kari Smalley Gibson, TP Community Storyteller

God Answers Specific Prayers.

A faithful believer in our Tipping Point family recently reached out to the prayer team. After re-dedicating her life to Jesus, she felt a deep conviction to share the Gospel—and possibly talk about the End Times—with her close friend and neighbor. But this wasn’t easy.

She had just experienced the heartbreaking loss of two dear friends—one saved, one not. The grief was fresh. The urgency was real.

She didn’t just ask for “prayer.” She asked for comfort in her sorrow, boldness to speak, and wisdom to follow the Holy Spirit’s lead.

Because she shared specific needs, our team was able to pray specific prayers.

And that’s when things begin to shift. Because when we pray in detail, the Holy Spirit often gives insight we couldn’t possibly know—what Scripture calls a “word of knowledge.” These moments build faith not just for the one receiving prayer, but for the one giving it, too.

Sometimes, the exact thing someone has been quietly pleading with God for shows up in a prayer comment from a stranger who had no idea.

That’s the kindness of God. That’s how near He really is.

Friend, don’t hold back. If you need prayer—ask boldly. Share from the heart. Let us lift you up in a way that helps you feel God’s nearness and care.

And if someone shares a request in the comments—pause. Pray. Encourage. Share Scripture. Listen for the Spirit.

This is how we grow. This is how we heal. This is how we stand together in these last days.

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” — James 5:16 (NLT)
