In this episode, I take you on a journey to one of the most astounding places I’ve ever visited—the ancient rock city of Petra in southern Jordan. While most people know Petra from the famous Indiana Jones movie scene, this magnificent site plays a far more significant role in Bible prophecy than Hollywood could ever imagine.

I believe Petra is the divinely prepared hiding place where God will supernaturally protect and provide for the believing Jewish remnant during the last half of the Tribulation period. Drawing from Revelation 12, Daniel 11, Isaiah 63, and other key passages, I’ll present four compelling biblical reasons why this “Rose City” fits perfectly as Israel’s end-times refuge.

From its identification as the biblical “Bozrah” mentioned in Micah 2:12–13, to its military connections with Christ’s Second Coming campaign, to its political protection from the Antichrist’s control, and its perfect geographical location in the wilderness hills—every detail points to Petra as God’s prepared place. This isn’t just ancient history; it’s prophecy waiting to be fulfilled in our generation.

In this week’s Q&A, I address several important questions. I clarify the distinction between Israel as the wife of Yahweh and the Church as the bride of Christ, explaining why these are two separate relationships rather than one. I also tackle questions about the intended audience of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, particularly whether the parables of the ten virgins and other teachings apply to Israel or the Church, maintaining that the entire discourse focuses on Israel’s future. Finally, I discuss a recent Islamic claimant to be the Mahdi and why this particular individual has gained no legitimate traction, placing him in the context of the many false messiahs that will precede the real end-times events.

The End Times Timeline: God’s Eternal Plan Revealed

This small comprehensive book, The End Times Timeline provides believers with an accessible framework for understanding biblical prophecy. It traces God's prophetic program from the Old Testament through the eternal state. What's particularly noteworthy is how current events align with ancient predictions—Israel's restoration, technological advances enabling global surveillance, and the geopolitical alignment of nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38–39.

The timeline identifies key prophetic milestones: the Rapture preceding the Tribulation, the rise of Antichrist, the rebuilt Temple, and Christ's Second Coming. While some debate the timing of particular events like the Gog-Magog War, the overall framework reflects solid Bible research. This resource serves as an excellent tool for both new believers seeking prophetic clarity and mature Christians desiring to understand their place in God's unfolding plan.
