I want to address something I see spreading all over the internet and even in some pulpits, and it is simply not true. The claim is that the Rapture was invented by John Nelson Darby in the 1830s and that no one in the early church ever taught it. That is a lie, and I can prove it. In this episode, I walk you through the words of Jesus Himself in John 14 and Matthew 24, the Apostle Paul’s clear teaching in 1 Thessalonians 4, and then I take you straight to the early church fathers, including Irenaeus, Eusebius, and Ephraim the Syrian, all of whom described a pre-tribulation catching away of the church long before Darby was ever born. The hope of the Rapture is not a modern invention. It is biblical, it is historical, and it belongs to every believer.
