Today I want to talk to you about the sign of deception—and I’m not talking about unbelievers, I’m talking about believers. I’m talking about deception that is invading churches, denominations, and families. It’s having a tremendous effect on believers today, and I want to show you how to protect yourself. When Jesus was asked in Matthew 24, “What are the signs of Your coming and of the end of the age?” the first thing He said was “Don’t be deceived.” Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2 that before the Antichrist is revealed, Satan will come with all lying deception. Today, many believers are deceived and falling away. This war started in Genesis 3, and it’s all about the Word of God. I’m going to show you three foundational truths from Genesis 1 that are under massive attack, how science actually proves creation and disproves evolution, and why your relationship with God’s Word determines whether you’re deceived or walking in truth.
